I love dogs, I am absolutely the definition of a dog person. Whenever I have an opportunity to spend time photographing a dog, I’m going to take it. Here are some of my favorites.

Angel City Pit Bulls

Angel City Pit Bulls was founded in 2010 to address the problem of overpopulation and high euthanasia rate of pit bull terrier type dogs in Los Angeles shelters. ACPB continues to evolve through the efforts of dedicated pit bull owners, educators, rescuers, and supporters working together to respond to the challenges facing pit bulls in our community.

Angel City Pit Bulls is a foster-based only program and run entirely on the support of donations and volunteers. We always need volunteers, foster homes, blankets, crates, donations, food, etc.

Love-A-Bull

Love-A-Bull was organized to educate and to advocate on behalf of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (all breeds commonly referred to as “pit bulls”) and pit bull mixes. The message we try to spread is that they are dogs, just like any other dog, they just happened to be called pit bulls.

The mission of Love-A-Bull is to promote responsible guardianship and improve the image and lives of pit bull type dogs through community support, education, advocacy, and rescue.

PetFinder

Petfinder is an online, searchable database of animals who need homes. It is also a directory of nearly 11,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Organizations maintain their own home pages and available-pet databases. With a mission to use Internet technology and the resources it can generate to

  1. Increase public awareness of the availability of high-quality adoptable pets
  2. Increase the overall effectiveness of pet adoption programs across North America to the extent that the euthanasia of adoptable pets is eliminated
  3. Elevate the status of pets to that of family member

Petfinder is a wonderful organization for anyone looking to bring home a new pet.
